This might very well be called “Son of Ballad of Sakuma Farms.”
It is a reflection of how the boycott of berries from Sakuma Farms in Skagit County, WA has expanded into an international boycott of Driscoll’s Berries, Sakuma’s largest customer and the single largest berry distributor in the world.
Driscoll’s is responsible for not only Sakuma’s lack of good faith in bargaining for a fair contract but thousands more workers as far south as San Quintin, Mexico.
